ST Guide Events xSTatic Festival 2012
Fourth xSTatic festival will be held in Split from 18th to 20th of May. xSTatic is an international festival of street art and extreme sports. It will be held at several locations in the city, visitors will be able to enjoy skills and mastership of many graffiti artists, skaters, BMX and in-line drivers, basketball players, DJs and MCs, and football ball jugglers.
The festival will start on 18.05. with the downhill competition, a skate board and longboard category that xSTatic Festival proudly hosts as an authentic Split discipline, it's being held on the north side of Marjan.
That same evening on Matejuska from 10PM to 1AM an festival opening party will be held with the bombastic Roots In Session, and afterwards at the club O'HARA unique Banana Sound, ABOP and DJ Venom.
Saturday 19.05. is the central day of the festival and many activities will take place in the area of Gripe sport Center. In addition to painting the walls with graffiti by numerous domestic and foreign graffiti masters , a basketball tournament '5 on 5' will be held organized Split team, skate competition, freestyle, open break dance floor, DJ workshops by DJ Venom, which will be open to everyone interested in the basics and advanced turntable tricks, and open mic with a live session with Therron Touret duo.
Saturday 19.05. from 10PM until the early morning hours xSTatic party will be held at O'Hara club, you will be entertained by Ajs Nigrutin and Timbre, Who See Klapa, DJ Phat Phillie, Cha Jah tone, Philip Motovunski, DJ Vrh, and surprise guests.
On Sunday, 20.05. on the location of the Sports Center Gripe graffity artists will be finishing their work, final game of basketball tournament will be played, also there will be an attractive program events of in-line and BMX riding, all spiced with good music by DJ Team.
On the same day at evening, festival will be closing with good music and other worldly goods at Funky house Bacvice.
